Chiado-Poetry

Amanda Chiado is an MFA graduate of California College of the Arts. Her work is forthcoming or appears in Witness, Sweet, Forklift, Ohio, Best New Poets, Fence, Cranky, Eleven Eleven, and others. She currently works as the Program Coordinator for the San Benito County Arts Council and she is also an active California Poet in the Schools. She is realizing her pregnant self’s obsessions range from deep cleaning to fruit-filled milkshakes, while her non-pregnant self’s obsessions range from horror flicks to imported beer. She is shopping her first book of poems and likes to wear theatrical makeup to the grocery store on occasion. Finally, it’s no lie that one of her nicknames is Manda-Moo.
